Mission

The Four-Bridges Rowing Club aims to provide rowing programs that are challenging and fun. We focus on promoting the sport to young athletes. The goal is to strive for them to become proficient in the sport and meet their competition and fitness targets.

We will achieve this by delivering high-quality programs that focus on the long-term development of athletes in an encouraging and respectful environment. Our goal is to develop athletes with a passion for rowing and sport that lasts for life.

Club History/Histoire du Club

The Four Bridges Rowing Club was established by rowing enthusiasts in Fredericton in 2019. The name of the club comes from the four bridges that once crossed the Saint John River at Fredericton, but only three now remain. In April 2024, the club was officially relocated to Grand Falls, though there remains an active chapter of the FBRC in Fredericton.

Rowing programs began in Grand Falls in the summer of 2025 using rowing shells donated by the Guelph and Toronto Argonaut Rowing Clubs. The club is located on the majestic Saint John (Wolastoq) river, on the site of the Grand Falls marina.
